Signs From The Universe To Change Your Life
Share
Throughout my journey of self-discovery and helping others, I’ve always been deeply connected to the concept of change. It reminds me of the time I helped a client who felt utterly stuck in life. Together, we delved deep to uncover the reasons behind their resistance. What we found wasn’t just a fear of change, but an unspoken yearning for something more. That journey, like so many others, reaffirmed my belief: while change may be daunting, it is also profoundly liberating.
Is there ever a perfect moment in life to make a change? Perhaps not, but that’s exactly why you should start anyway.
Change is the only constant in life. By accepting the inevitability of change as a natural and necessary part of existence, you allow life to unfold more smoothly and peacefully.
Often, people resist change because they either don’t realise it’s time or they actively fight the changes they know they need. This resistance can leave them stuck in situations that desperately require transformation.
Through my experiences, I’ve learned an important truth: it’s far better to recognise when it’s time for positive changes and actively take steps to bring them about than to passively wait for life to force your hand.
Has the Time Come for Change?
Many people say things like, “Maybe one day!” or “I’ll do it when things settle down.” But here’s the truth: life never really settles down.
Life is always moving forward, presenting new challenges and opportunities. Just when you think you’ve reached a calm moment, a new issue arises or a new question demands an answer.
Got a promotion? Now doesn’t seem like the right time to leave your job and start a business.
Just moved to a new city? Travelling might seem impractical right now.
It never seems like the perfect time to go after what you want. Saying you’ll start in a few months or years often feels like the safer choice. But the reality is, now is the best time to start living the life you want.
It’s Never Too Late to Start Changing
Every second, month, or year that passes without you taking steps toward the life you desire is a moment wasted. Considering how fleeting life is, do you really want to spend another moment living in a way that doesn’t bring you happiness?
If you wait 1, 3, or even 5 years to start that business because you feel unprepared, that’s 1, 3, or 5 years spent living someone else’s dream instead of your own.
This is your life—your one chance to make it meaningful. Forget about following society’s expectations. Your future self will thank you for taking control.
You are capable of so much more than you think. You are meant to forge your own path, not just for yourself but so that others can learn from your courage and do the same. If not you, then who?
Changing your life isn’t easy. Even when you’re confident you’re moving in the right direction—whether in your career or personal growth—you’ll still have moments where you feel lost.
In those moments, remind yourself of the bravery it took to make that first move. Remember the belief you had in yourself that you could create a more fulfilling life. Be proud of valuing yourself enough to take a step very few people dare to. Even if things don’t go as planned, you can say, “At least I tried.”
Here are 6 signs that it’s time for a change in your life:
- You can’t wait for the weekend: If you’re constantly living for Friday, it’s time to reassess your routine. What if you could have that Friday feeling every day?
- You’ve lost meaning in your surroundings: If everything feels like it’s falling apart, it might be life’s way of clearing space for something better.
- Something has ended: Endings, whether planned or unexpected, create opportunities for new beginnings.
- You feel out of sync with the world: If the world around you is moving forward and you feel left behind, it’s time to adapt or make a conscious decision to remain as you are.
- You’re often jealous: Use envy as motivation to create the life you want instead of wishing for someone else’s.
- You’ve lost your passion: If your life no longer reflects who you are, rediscover your passions to reignite your enthusiasm.
Steps to Changing Your Life
- Decide to Change: Recognising the need for change is the hardest part, but it’s also the most crucial.
- Understand Why: Identify what’s not working in your life and why you want things to be different.
- Recognise Barriers: Pinpoint habits, thoughts, or people holding you back.
- Seek Support: Surround yourself with people who encourage your growth, even if that means finding new friends.
- Think Long-Term: Change doesn’t happen overnight. Focus on progress, not perfection, and take one step at a time.
By recognising these signs and taking these steps, you can begin to create a life that truly aligns with your passions, values, and dreams. Change might be challenging, but it’s the only path to becoming the person you’re meant to be.
